Pretensils

These spoons are awesome for little hands. The slotted spoon is meant to be dipped into purée type foods (mashed potatoes, apple sauce etc.) where the food will collect in the little grooves. Then your little one can suck the food off the spoon without having to use a scooping motion like a normal spoon. But once they get the hang of it transitioning to the real spoon will be a breeze. I recommend these for babies who have started the traditional way of weaning with purées before going to my training utensils, but they are awesome to have around if you are doing baby led weaning as well because learning how to properly scoop a spoon in the beginning can be tough for little ones ☺️
